Vale Graham Bancroft Respected Honorary Member of ANZROC Victoria

Today (14th January 2019) Geoff Beard phoned to sadly advise Cheryl & myself of the passing of Graham Bancroft at his  Nursing Home where he had resided for some time. Our hearts go out to Carole and we will miss Graham at our quarterly lunches.
 
 
Graham was an exceptional player for ANZ bank Tennis Club playing in the  Southern Districts Men’s A Grade Doubles competition for many years  in the ANZ Men’s tennis teams. Together with Peter Harvey, Bill Stevens and  winning several A grade Southern Districts men’s competitions.
 
 
It is planned that Graham’s  funeral will be held on Wednesday 23rd January at W D Rose funerals Cheltenham at 2.30pm. Will be confirmed  in news paper. Our prayers and thoughts are with  Carole at this sad time .

Margaret Maitland R.I.P.

I received a call from Alister Maitland to let me know that his wife Margaret sadly passed away this morning.

Our deepest condolences are extended to Alister and his family.

The funeral will be held at 10am on Thursday January 10th at Le Pine Funerals 741 High Street (cnr Oswin Street) Kew East.

Vale Colin Walton Respected Honorary Member of ANZROC Victoria

We were very sorry to hear from Julie van Tuil that her father Colin Walton passed away on December 2nd aged 85 years. The funeral was held on December 5th. Our condolences are extended to Julie and her family.

Vale Arthur Booth

ANZROC member Graeme Plant advised that his great friend Arthur Booth passed away on 16/12/2018  aged 77 years.

Arthur had lived at Elliot Heads, Queensland for some years and was a regular correspondent on receipt of his annual Birthday card.

Graham and Arthur both worked at Data Processing Department in South Yarra and their friendship extended over 44 years.

A private funeral has been held.

Our condolences are extended to Arthur's family.
