Vale Bill Willocks Respected Member of Anzroc Victoria - Funeral Details Added

The Funeral Service will be held in the Le Pine Chapel, 21 McDonald St, Mordialloc on Friday 20 March commencing at 10 am.

Private burial will follow.

No flowers by family request.

We were very sorry to receive news from Neil Bottos that Bill Willocks sadly passed away on 12 March aged 73.

Bill had been in poor health for a while but it was still a big shock to hear the news.

Bill spent his ANZ career in I.T. including stints in London and New York. He managed the International Services Project team at 303 Collins street when I came to Melbourne in 1989 and was a very popular leader.

Earlier In London he was tasked with the unpopular challenge of installing the Method 1 system to a team who enjoyed a more free form of systems design. I know he enjoyed the pubs and restaurants in the City at that time.

Des Shady said That’s very sad news. I first worked with Bill in New York early 1980’s. He loved big cars and I remember he purchased a well used Cadillac ? for about a grand - just outside bank policy.

In recent years we caught up with Bill at our Anzroc Golf Days and Xmas lunch and our annual I.T. get together around Xmas time at Toto's Pizza house.

Bill will be missed by his many ANZ friends.

We pass on our deep condolences to Sue and her family. R.I.P. Bill.

Funeral details will be added when known.

Vale Kevin Watson - Respected Honorary Member of Anzroc Victoria

From Ron Adams

I received an email  from Ray Galliott, Secretary of ANZROC WA advising the passing of our Honorary Member  A.K.R .(Kevin) Watson at the age of 90 on 1st March 2020 in Perth

Susan Watson has expressly asked me to make sure that Kevin's friends and colleagues in Victoria are aware of his passing as Kevin spent a significant part of his working career in Victoria. I believe he joined the Bank of Australasia in Melbourne circa 1950 and retired in 1995.

Kevin would be known to many members in Victoria including me as I worked briefly with Kevin  when he was Head of ANZ Corporate in Sydney

Kevin was a great friend of the late Brian Murdoch and the late Bruce Tickell and visited Melbourne regularly to catch up with them

Our condolences are extended to Kevin's family

A Service to celebrate the life of the late Kevin Watson AM of Claremont will be held at Dalkeith Road Church of Christ Church, cnr of Edward and Dalkeith Rds Nedlands at 10.30am MONDAY (09.03.2020).
